Solutions Incubator Enrollment, Terms and Application

The Solutions Incubator offers multi-year incubation spanning up to 5 years to guide the design, launch and growth of your social solution.

Enrollment Information

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Membership fees are tailored to your budget and will be determined at the initial consultation.
Individuals, nonprofit organizations, philanthropic grantees and members of other organizations can join the Solutions Incubator.
You can join at your idea, start-up or growth stage of designing and launching your social solution.
You do not need to have a website or social media presence to be apart of the Solutions Incubator though we will encourage you to do so at some point in the process.
You do not need to have a 501c3 to join. We will discuss with you collaborative options to launch your social solution.

Terms and Conditions

Members of the Solutions Incubator agree to the following terms and conditions for participation:

You agree to participate in the initial coaching session to customize your participation in the Solutions Incubator.
You agree to show up on time and attend Solutions Labs, One-on-One Coaching Sessions and Knowledge Forums
You agree to complete learning lab activities on time to progress your efforts to solve a social problem.
Members provide feedback and testimonials to help promote the work of the Solutions Incubator.
You agree to pay the agreed upon membership fee on time.

Starting April 18, 2024, Grow Up will offer a 6-part Lunch & Learn workshops series tailored to the growth of small nonprofits and small businesses serving BIPOC communities. Our FREE workshops provide actionable business growth strategies and deep dive learning. All participants will receive practical tools, insights, and resources essential for navigating the complexities of business growth, regardless of their stage of development.

FINANCIAL GROWTH TRAINING

BOOKKEEPING FOR SMALL BUSINESSES AND NONPROFITS

Join us for an enriching workshop series where you'll gain invaluable insights into financial management tailored specifically for small businesses and nonprofits. These online sessions promise practical insights and actionable strategies to optimize your financial operations.

Financial Management Part 1 - Thu 4/18 (11:30am - 1pm, Online)
In Part 1, Audrey will guide you through the foundational steps of setting up and using accounting software QuickBooks Online. She’ll share her expertise to help attendees master the essentials of QuickBooks, empowering them to efficiently manage financials and make informed decisions on a daily basis. Participants will delve into specific software features, including invoicing, bank transaction matching, and income/expense account categorization.

Financial Management Part 2 - Thu 5/2 (11:30am - 1pm, Online)

In Part 2, Audrey will shine a light on advanced QuickBooks Online features such as vendor/customer setup, financial reporting, and payroll management. You’ll gain valuable insights into making financial projections, facilitating accurate reporting for tax purposes, and optimizing payroll processes. She’ll also introduce alternative accounting software programs such as Wave and Xero, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of various options available to meet your organization's unique needs.
